Website Launch Video From Your URL

Your website turned into a launch film from its address alone — its first screen in a laptop, a numbered feature per section on the phone, the close on its address, in three sizes.

What is the Website Launch Video workflow?

The launch film for a website, not an app — no screenshots to take, no listing to link. Give your site's address: it's opened the way a visitor would see it, its first screen captured on a laptop and a phone screen taken at up to four of its sections, each starting on its heading. Each section becomes a numbered feature written from the page's own words, and the film is drawn frame by frame on the same engine as the Launch Video: the hook over your homepage, the camera leaning in on the part that matters, a callout on the exact element, a sound on every landing, and a close on your address.

A fraction of a cent on your Gemini key for reading your site's sections and writing the film; the film is drawn in code, so rendering costs nothing.

Before you start

  • Your site's public address — a page with headings (h1/h2) for its sections works best.
  • A ppl.studio account — reading the sections and writing the film are two calls on your Gemini key (a fraction of a cent); opening the site and drawing the film cost nothing.

The Website Launch Video guide

  1. Step 01~~30 s

    Give the site's address

Paste the page you're launching — your homepage or the page of the new thing. It's opened at a desktop width for its first screen and at a phone's width for its sections.

Why this matters: Rule one of a launch video: show the product. Your real site, exactly as visitors see it, is what makes the film believable.

OutcomeThe site's first screen, a phone screen at up to four sections, and its own words.
How to do it with ppl.studio

One visit with a real browser on our side. Cookie banners are hidden; each section screen starts on its heading, clear of a sticky header.

    1. 1.1

      Sections come from your headings

The film tours the page: the hero, then up to three sections spread down it, each where an h2 starts. FAQs, newsletters and the small print are skipped.

Output: A 1280×800 first screen and up to four 780×1688 phone screens.

  2. Step 02~~20 s

Get the sections read and the film written

Each phone screen is read for what it shows and where its elements are. Then the film is written: a hook for the first frame, one numbered feature per section, and what happens on each — a tap, a reveal, a zoom or a callout.

Why this matters: Every feature must quote your page's own words, and one with no source is dropped before anything is drawn — the film can't claim what your site doesn't.

OutcomeA hook, 2–4 features, one dark scene and a closing line.
How to do it with ppl.studio

Two calls on your Gemini key. The run shows what was written and anything dropped.

    1. 2.1

      Check the hook

It's on the first frame — your thumbnail — over your homepage in a laptop.

  3. Step 03~~2 min

Get it drawn in three sizes

The hook over the laptop, one feature every four seconds on the phone, one dark scene, and the close: one true line, your icon and your address over the laptop again.

Why this matters: Opening and closing on the site a visitor lands on, with its address on screen, tells the viewer exactly where to go.

OutcomeThree MP4s with sound, and a contact sheet of every shot.
How to do it with ppl.studio

Drawn on our side with no video model — free, about a minute per size.

    1. 3.1

Post the wide one on X

The 16:9 film fits X and Product Hunt; the vertical one goes to TikTok, Reels and Shorts.

    Output: 1080×1920, 1920×1080 and 1080×1080 MP4s, 30 fps, with sound.

Website Launch Video workflow FAQ

Do I need screenshots?

No. The site is opened at its address and captured on our side: its first screen at a desktop width, and a phone screen at each section. For an app with an App Store listing, use the Launch Video instead.

Does it invent features?

No. Every feature quotes your page's own words, and one that doesn't is dropped before anything is drawn.
