How it's built
The hook: call-out. The first line names the viewer or their situation, so they see themselves before the second beat.
- 0-2smouths the first words of the borrowed line, eyes wide, one hand at the hair; the caption is on from the first frame
- 2-6slooks away and back, lifts a lip liner, finishes the line deadpan to the lens; no cuts
Length and pacing
- About 6 s long.
- One unbroken shot, no cuts.
- On-screen text in a outline style, placed at the lower of the frame.
- Carried by the creator's voice.
- A lip-sync: wide-eyed, then deadpan, of a line that sounds envious.
