How it's built
The hook: call-out. The first line names the viewer or their situation, so they see themselves before the second beat.
- 0-3sthe face, still or barely moving, with the caption across the middle
- Endone small reaction (eyes open, a sideways glance, a sigh) lands the joke; some versions change the caption twice to a twist question
Length and pacing
- About 23 s long.
- One unbroken shot, no cuts.
- On-screen text in a outline style, placed across the middle of the frame.
- Runs on music or a trending sound.
- Silent: a deadpan stare, barely moving, while the text lands.
