What is the Chart Explainer workflow?
The data story — the number now, where it started, the turn, why it moved, what it means for you — as a workflow. Name the topic; one measure is researched at five to eight dates from one source (and its comparison when that source tracks one), the narration and the shots are written only from those figures, and the film is drawn frame by frame: the line advancing date by date with its value on the tip, the area filling under it, the turning point ringed with a note, the source under the chart. A point the facts don't give is sent back to the writer, never drawn.

What this preset made
Before you start
- A topic with a number that changed: a share, a price, a count over the years.
- A ppl.studio account with your own Gemini key — the research, the words and the voice come to a few cents; the chart is drawn for free.

- Step 01~~30 s
Get the figures researched
The topic is researched with Google Search: one measure at five to eight dates from one source, its comparison when the same source tracks one, and the facts around it — each with its publisher and date.
Why this matters: A chart is only as good as its points; a line drawn from mixed sources, or a year filled in by guesswork, is the comment that sinks the video.

Get it written, voiced and drawn
Five beats — the number now, where it started, the turn, why, what it means for you — a sourced line each, and the line chart across three to five shots: drawn from the start to now, its turning point ringed, beside its comparison.
Why this matters: A line that moves while the voice explains it holds a viewer; a still chart is a slide.

Chart Explainer workflow FAQ
Can it make up a data point?
No: every point on the line must be a figure in the researched claim sheet. A value the sheet doesn't hold sends the script back to the writer.
