What is Whitelisting (creator ads)?

Whitelisting (also called allowlisting or partnership ads) is the practice of running paid ads through a creator's or influencer's social media account instead of the brand's own account. This makes the ad appear as if the creator is posting it organically, increasing trust and engagement. Whitelisting typically requires negotiating additional fees and usage rights with the creator.

How it relates to AI UGC

AI UGC lets brands achieve the visual look of whitelisted creator content—authentic, person-forward imagery—without the licensing complexity. Since the AI expert isn't a real person, there are no whitelisting fees or usage restrictions.
